Willow River is a small village about 35 minutes east of Prince George along Highway 16, at the confluence of the Willow and Fraser Rivers. The community is centred around the village proper with its post office and small store, surrounded by rural residential and acreage properties. Recreation is the strong draw — the rivers, the fishing, the quiet — and the highway makes the commute to town reasonable for people working in Prince George.
