Reid Lake is a small rural lake community about 30 kilometres northwest of Prince George, reached via Chief Lake Road and the Isle Pierre–Reid Lake Road turnoff. The lake itself is 61 hectares — smaller than Ness or Nukko — with rainbow trout and quieter shoreline traffic than its better-known neighbours. Most residents are on acreage, two to forty-plus acres, with a mix of year-round homes and seasonal cabins. Infrastructure is proper rural: private wells and septic, maintained gravel roads in winter, kids bussed to the Hart-area schools. It's the kind of place people move for space, trees, and fishing — and for the kind of quiet that Ness and Nukko traded away a decade ago.
