Hixon is a small unincorporated village about an hour south of Prince George on Highway 97, roughly halfway to Quesnel. It has a post office, a general store, a gas station, and an elementary school. Properties run from village lots up to substantial rural acreage, with price points that reflect the distance from Prince George. This is one of the most affordable pockets in the greater PG region if you can make the commute work. Most residents work in Quesnel, Prince George, or from home.
